  • Where do you get your pork rinds from?

    Hello,

Can you tell me where to buy the pork rinds? Do you buy them from a butcher or are they the salted ones you buy in the corner shop? It might sound like a daft question but being in England you don't come across these often. Thankyou.

The pork rinds referred to in many of the recipes are the ones available prepackaged at grocery stores in America. They are usually sold near the chips (what you would call crisps) in the snack aisle. They are usually lightly salted, very puffy and crispy. They can be crumbled quite easily, and some recipes call for making a sort of flour or breadcrumbs with crushed pork rinds.

Look out for packaging that says "PORK SCRATCHINGS". Be sure to check the ingredients though
