  • Cake?

Does anyone have a cake recipe? It doesn't have to be induction friendly.

My 28th birthday is coming up in about a week, and I've asked my wife for low-carb cake (red velvet if possible).

My husband made a great low carb cheese cake with crust for our daughters birthday. It was so good.

    For the crust you need:
    1 cup of ground almonds
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 table spoon splenda

    For the Filler you need:
    5 packages of cream cheese
    1 cup splenda
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    3 eggs
    2 egg yolks
    1 cup sour cream

    Directions for crust:
melt butter add splenda and ground almonds

    Directions for filler
Blend cream cheese, vanilla and splenda, then add 3 eggs blend it together, then add 2 egg yolks blend it together, and add sour cream and blend it together.

Bake in oven on 325 degrees for 1 hour 10 mins.

How about for a non-cheesecake? I've made the low-carb cheescakes and I love them, but I want a real cake, cake.

Try this one for three minute chocolate cake.

Naja, thanks for posting that website to low carb friends. I didn't know that existed. Good website to look for different recipies to have variety.
Failure occurs only when we stop trying.

Besides the almonds, this cheesecake recipe looks to be induction-friendly. My 25th is coming up next week and I would love to make something for my office because they usually buy the cake for the birthday girl!

Can I eat this cake on induction, and if not, what is a good Induction-friendly recipe I can make?

At Atkins.com if you go to recipes and do a search for 'cake' there are a fair amount of recipes that pop up.
