ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING RECIPE NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The basic recipe is oil, vinegar and herbs, shaken together rapidly or put in a blender to emulsify.
Try:
1/4 cup good olive oil
Mixed Italian type herbs, fresh or dried, about 1 tbsp
1 small slice of tomato, finely chopped
2 tbsp vinegar
Mix thoroughly and enjoy over salad.

Im italian and I just use either
extra-virgin olive oil with lemon or Vinagar (Balsamic or Red Wine) and oregano. First just sprinke the oil and make sure it gets on all of lettuce mixing it around and then add the lemon or vinagar and mix it again.Antoinette

I am making my own version
I am using
1 cup of good olive oil
1/3 cup of lemon
4 pieces of garlic (or more or less)
salt/ pepper/ seasonings of your choice
I have a braun stick blender i use to make this, but you could do it in the food processor or blender, because it helps to make this really creamy and stay incorperated much better than just shaking it.
I add the lemon and spices and garlic and blend all til really small, then just add the oil, and done , the blending really makes it a lot different that just smashing the garlic and mixing it together.
I just really love this, and the kids do too.
Just remember the 3 to 1 part rule,
3 parts of oil,
1 part of lemon (or you could use any vinegar also, but i like the lemon better)
