ginger syrup

I am looking for the ginger syrup recipe that is in Dr. Atkins Quick and Easy New Diet Cookbook, should be on page 207, thanks!!

I imagine pressed ginger juice and Splenda would do nicely. Malitol actually makes a better syrup for candymaking purposes, but for Oriental savory cooking Splenda will do fine. Bottled ginger juice can be bought in Oriental markets, or crush and strain ginger root for juice. A garlic crusher may be used for the purpose.
