  • Bacon drippings

Is it ok to use bacon drippings to flavor other foods while on Induction? I hate to throw it out if I can use it safely. I had a thought of using it to saute' turnip fries so they wouldn't be so bitter-tasting. If I can't, any suggestions on how to make turnips taste better? Plus, I usually fry my eggs in it after I have cooked my bacon. I need some direction please. :nod

Bacon grease is fine, after all, it is almost pure fat, pretty much the same as oil for purposes of cooking.

I can't stand the taste of butter on my vegetables so I just drizzle a little bacon grease for flavor on some of them.

          bacon, bacon, bacon

I like butter, but it doesn't seem to be intense enough in flavor for me. I'm going to keep bacon drippings around for more flavor.
