A simple thai hot ans sour soup could be great, it is very aromatic, and not too thick or heavy in texture.

You basically take some chicken stock, bring to a boil, turn heat down to a simmer and add a couple stalks of roughly treated lemon grass (to help release the aromatic oils), some zest of lime (or kaffir lime leaves if you can get them), a couple tablespoons of thai fish sauce (availible at any asian grocer, avoid the grocery store stuff though, not the same animal at all), a couple chopped serrano or thai chiles, and just before serving toss in a small handfull of chopped chive or shallots, and a sprinkle some fresh cilantro over top.

Morning sickness...okay so your tummy won't be too big on overly seasoned things right?

Simplest soup I make when I'm not feeling okay is just chicken broth boiled with a clove of garlic, some shredded tender leafy veg like spinach or swiss chard leaves, a bit of chicken meat and maybe an egg (bring the soup to a boil, crack an egg into it and lower it to a simmer, the egg will poach in the broth).

Ask you doc or dietician if ginger root will be safe for you to use. Ginger root has an anti-nausea effect. If it is okay for you to use, you can make a ginger tea out of a couple slices of ginger root (bash them with the flat part of a knife) boiled in water. Add a slice of lemon and sweeten according to your taste. You can also add a slice of ginger root to the brothy soup above
