  • another faux potatote thread

    i have cauliflower
    butter/olive oil
    parsely
    and cream 41 % fat..i dont know which seasoning goes in it..and how u cook ,any help??
    can i steam cauliflower and mash it and add parsley /cream?with salt/black pepper..does it sound ok?
    i never made/ate faux potatote so i really dont know how to make it..

      There's probably a lot of ways to fix fauxtatoes. Personally, I like to cook the cauliflower (either a whole fresh head or a whole frozen bag) until it's very tender and then give it a good whirl in the food processor along with about 1 or 2 ounces of cream cheese, a T. butter, and a couple of tablespoons of cream.

      The parsley would probably add a nice flavor too, along with the salt & pepper. Just try it and see how it tastes. Then you can experiment with other additions if you like.
