  • Swordfish (anyway but raw lol)

Hello! Last night I bought some swordfish steak to try and I was wondering if anyone has any recipes they couls share with me. Ive never had it before, and kind of unsure what to put on it or marinate it in. Any help would be appreciated.

Salt, pepper, maybe lemon juice or soy sauce...any combo of the above (maybe a sliver of ginger)---ok, any seasoning you want Then throw in some frozen veggies, wrap in foil. Put in the oven for about 25 minutes at 375ish? I do fish in general that way. Pretty simple, you want the veggies hot and the fish non-opaque/flaky.

I make a mixture of grated lemon peel, minced garlic and minced rosemary. Mix that with enough olive oil to form a thick paste. Then rub the steaks with the paste. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Then I grill the swordfish. I use a George Foreman grill or the charcoal grill (if I'm not too lazy).

There are books and guidelines that tell you when the fish is cooked. I take two forks and gently pry open a spot in the center of the fish. If the middle looks less translucent and looks more solid, I take them off the grill. Put them on a plate and cover loosely with foil (while I clean up my mess and set my table).

I must say I like it just grilled. Then you can have it with a garlic mayo but I like it like that .... just grilled and no sauce. I love its taste!
