      Re: Pizza

The double crusted one was better Higgies. I never did get it "crispy" though. Now, what I have been doing for that pizza craving is throwing a handful of mozzarella on a plate, top with some sauce and pepperoni or whatever toppings I want and microwave it for 2 minutes! LOL. My son even makes that for a snack now, he says I should "sell" it!

        Re: Pizza

I made the famous PIZZA Sunday night. (Didn't cool the crust first) It was okay...I admit I was alittle dissappointed. I had 1/6 of the pie and a smallish salad. Filled me up pretty good, tho!

BUT THEN>>>Tonight I Heated up a slice in my Toaster Oven and it was AMAZING!!! The edges were slightly burnt giving it a Crusty texture. Soo glad I made it!!

        Thanks!!!

oh yeha! I forgot it was much better reheated! Yum! At first it reminded me of that school pizza that had the thick soggy crust...still pretty decent.

I've never made the deep dish recipe, but I make this one all the time:

            http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/pork_rind_pizza.html

We LOVE it! My DH is partial to pork sausage and mushrooms for the topping. Now I'm going to have to make it for dinner. Yum!

              Re: Pizza

Have the crust for this in the oven tonight! (Thanks Laurenfra for reminding me) OMG the smell of this is just overwhelming! I am trying the single recipe in an 8x8 pan and want to see how this comes out. Hate to waste a whole 9x13 on non low carb lovers in the family. And I like thicker crust!
They have pizza lots of times without me!!
