My new favorite it hamburger cabbage soup.
I brown chop meat leaving in in big hunks. Add canned tomatos beef broth and what ever else you want. Then when cooked you can chop cabbage in stamp size hunks and cook 5 mins more. Or slice cabbage as thin as you can get it and cook 10 mins and you will think you are eating noodles

      Re: Cabbage

Stuffed cabbage casserole: shred the cabbage, mix with some onion, salt and pepper. Put half of that in the bottom of a casserole. Top it with your favorite meatloaf recipe. Then put the remaining cabbage on top. Cover the casserole and bake it. Remove the cover in the last 10 minutes of cooking to brown the top of the casserole a little.

        Re: Cabbage

As you know Megs, I'm a big fan of cabbage rolls. I make a huge batch and freeze several meals worth at once!

Well today you should have Corned Beef and Cabbage!

        How about cole slaw?

You lived in Japan, don't you like they way they shred it and serve it with mayo along side Tonkatsu? (fried pork chops) Of course you'd have to change the recipe for the pork chops..I'd use pork rinds for breading, but here is what the cabbage looks like

Combine 2 lightly beaten eggs, half a cup of heavy cream with half water (1 c) and paprika, salt and pepper to taste. Pour this mixture over the cabbage and sprinkle with 1/2 c of grated cheese.
