Re: What Can I Do With These?

I havent made this since I've been on Atkins, but I've always liked stuffed porkchops.

Cut a slit into the side of porkchops, mix together diced green onions, diced tomato, finely shredded cheddar cheese and spoon into chop. Hold together with toothpick. Place in oven at 400 until chop is done and filling is nice and melty. You can also pan fry it a little if you like a little crispier. Should be induction friendly ( I hope)

Sorry the instructions aren't more specific, I'm at work right now and typing this by pure memory....which has never been very good!!

There are hundreds of recipes you can make!

A couple of easy ones, bread the chicken with parmesean cheese and spices and fry like you would fried chicken! (use the parmesean cheese that's grated and comes in the green can)

Pork Chops can be breaded using crushed pork rinds and spices and fried as well.

For porkchops, I dry them really well with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Then fry in a hot skillet with some oil. The chops will brown, provided you make sure they are as dry as possible when you put them in the pan. I like them plain.

There are tons of chicken recipes. Take a look in the Main Dishes forum for ideas.

There's sooooooo many good things you can do, induction friendly; guess the only real restriction is whether or not you like the other ingredients.

Some thoughts that come to mind:
marinade either meat in some bouillon with cider vinegar, dash of smoke flavor, garlic, black &/or cayenne pepper while you sautee in olive oil some onion, tomato & choice of herb (ie., tarragon for chicken, saffron or cumin for pork, or? Hot mustard - chili - rosemary - sage - oregano - thyme....?)
When halfay cooked lay meat on top a few min, covered with lid to keep in the herbal essences(!), the turn & cook until desired doneness. Cover with cheese(s) or mayo....mmmmm bon apetit

            Sautee

You could get fancier and make this if you have boneless chicken breasts

Pork queen speaking. If you go to www.otherwhitemeat.com you will find tons of pork recipes. Many of them are low carb and induction friendly. I like the Tex-Mex chops, and they're easy.

                    Tex-Mex Chops:
Heat some olive oil in a skillet. Brown chops in oil, seasoning to taste with salt and pepper. Top with a little salsa, shredded cheddar, and sour cream. Add avocado on the side if you wish.
                    June Goals
                    1. Continue with water
                    2. Use bike more (3x per week would be nice).
                    3. Continue with videos.
                    4. Go to the YMCA for water classes.
                    5. Build stamina for more walking.

                    Goals for May:
                    1. Water every day - at least 100 oz.
                    2. Walk through Wal Mart instead of ride.
                    3. Post every day.
                    4. Get the exercise bike out of basement and use it!
                    5. Re-read DANDR! It's been too long.

Take boneless skinless chicken breasts, slice a pocket in them. Fill them with broccoli and cheddar cheese. Wrap with bacon and secure with a stick. Pay fry for a little bit then throw them in the oven for about 45 minutes til done.

take some fresh cracked pepper and pound it with some fennel seeds until coarse but not powder then add some garlic pound away and then some olive oil and kosher salt...rub the chops on both sides with this paste and fry in a skillet coated with olive oil until done ...my husband adores these serve with a fresh mixed green salad dressed in olive oil lemon garlic and more fresh cracked pepper
