I am wanting to stick in crockpot.. but what do I add? I am sooo dumb when it comes to cooking.. so something simple will be awesome!!! I am doing extended induction.. please help?

Maybe put a little butter under the skin and a lemon and spices in the cavity. Spice the outside and add some water in the bottom. I usually add a little later frozen broccoli, cauliflower and grean beans.

ok that was very freaky.... I felt like freaked out when I pulled the poor little chicken out the bag I could not get myself to add stuff on the inside
It felt odd.. my first time dealing with the whole chicken.. I felt like I would intrude the chicken? LOL I know I am weird.. so I adedd salt, season all, and lemon pepper? no water added

Yup, I stuffed a chicken with pierced lemons before...it was VERY tasty! Just make sure you leave the lemons out for a while first so they are room temperature. Also, squeeze some of the juice into the cavity first and then stuff them in the chicken pierced witha fork....mmmmHiggies

Hey, if its your first time dealing with a whole chicken, make sure that if there is a bag inside the chicken that you remove it before cooking it, usually there is a bag with the neck, gizzard, heart and liver in it hidden inside!
