  • Need recipes for pork rinds, please!

Hello all. I know that pork rinds are "my friend" but can anyone give me creative ways to serve them up? I've tried the pork rind french toast (delicious) and the "cinnamon toast crunch" pork rinds, but I can only eat so much of that! LOL

Also, are BBQ pork rinds good or bad?

Penzey's sells dehydrated toasted onions. Combine them with a little msg, salt and sour cream and you've got sour cream and onion dip. Fantastic with pork rinds.

My favorite thing to do with pork rinds is smash them up and add a bunch of seasoning, dip/press a pork chop in them and fry it! Its even my BF's favorite way to have pork chops and he doesn't even like pork rinds!

You have to check the ingredients on the BBQ ones, most of them contain sugar even if they say 0 carbs per serving!

You don't have to eat them, you know. I only eat a bag like every 3 months or so. They are nice with a dip or with cheese when I want a crunchy snack and everyone else is eating chips. Other than that though, they aren't required. They are kind of high in sodium and can stall people. So if you love them, go ahead and use them, but if you don't, don't worry about it. You should only eat things you like.

I hate them all the time when I was on induction, It cured my crunch salty snack cravings. I'm like you now LiR, I eat them rarely and mostly only on the fried pork chops about once every month or two.

I make the classic taco and BLT dips and use pork rinds instead of chips, very good substitute!
