I can't get sugarfree sirups so what can I replace it with. For example a recipe calls for 1/2 cup coffee flavored sirup what do I do? 1/2 splenda and a bit of coffee flavoring?

I wrote Davinci a while back requesting information on syrup equivalents for replacing sugar in baking. They never got back to me.
For the most part, the word on the street is that one cup of Davinci SF syrup provides about the same sweetness as one cup sugar. According to some, it may take more davinci, and yet according to others, less. I think a 1:1 ratio sounds right, though.
Since splenda is the same ratio to sugar, than Davinci to splenda is 1:1. You will need to compensate for the water in the syrup, though. Fill the half cup with splenda, add coffee flavoring (instant coffee) and add water to reach 1/2 cup. How much instant coffee? I've never used the coffee davinci, but my guess is that it's not overwhelmingly coffee flavored. I'd say 1 t. of instant coffee for 1/2 cup splenda/water. Maybe 2 t. Taste it and see.
