  • coating for chicken

i am looking for some sort of coating that would be suitable when pan frying chicken. i live in poland and don't think i have the pork rinds available- haven't seen them yet, but want sort of the same effect like crispy or kfc style.
    thanks

Check out this thread. Awesome coating for frying!
Almond flour (basically just ground almonds) is not induction friendly, by the way. Not sure where you are at on the rungs.

I dont have pan fried but... I love slicing strips of chicken, egg wash, then coat with canned parmesan cheese (I recommend the Kraft kind and not cooper it was way too salty!) then deep fried. My 4y loves these, they are like chicken strips. Fantastic for a chinese chicken salad, or dipped in your favorite sauce.

You have to de-carb it but heres an oriental salad

Am I right in guessing that soy flour isnt allowed on Induction?

Oh man!!! Induction isnt fun sometimes!!

I do crave abit of fried chicken. I find with parmesan when I deep fry it, all the cheese comes off and when I shallow fry it, the cheese makes the chicken stick to the pan.

it is tricky to do it with the parm here is how I found it to work best ...

take boneless chicken breasts and then do your egg wash and dip in the cheese then let it dry on a rack for a bit ....then drop it in the hot oil ..do not touch it while it fries until you are ready to flip it

              you can also do this
coat the chicken pieces with mayo dip in parm and bake 350 flipping them over half way through

We tried this last night w/ our chicken and it was very tasty. Made enough to take to work for lunch today.

I have used ground flax mixed with garlic powder, salt and seasonings... they vary each time I make them ... anywho they come out crunchy and bread crumby and completely induction friendly my kids love them...

Try mixing some ground flax with some onion powder and salt and pepper.. infact what ever blows your skirt up. I am gonna try some cayenne and garlic a bit of salt and shallow fry them or I spose you could spray the peices all over with evo spray and bake them up.. hmmmmm the possabilities are endless... oooooooooo what about a nice dipping sauce... yum
