I am not a cook; I hate cooking!
I made a sort of simple, fake lasagne. Just one lb minced beef fried up in lots of olive oil with a jar of commercial bolognese sauce mixed in. It's 20 carbs a jar. Makes about 6 portions so about 3.5 carbs per portion. Slice of 1/2 a carb emmental cheese on top, microwave it, cheese melts, tastes a bit like lasagne.
Today found sieved tomatoes, just 12 carbs for the same amount of sauce as above, making it just 2 carbs a portion plus 1/2 carb for the cheese.
Is this OK to eat? Is there another way that I cannot think of to make the sauce tomatoey without using tomato sauce (stupid question!)
I found a portion very satisfying and was not hungry for several hours so I hope it's OK to eat!
