  • Pre roasted chicken

As I am not a cook and hate cooking, I'd like to buy those spit-roast chickens all hot and lovely in the supermarket.

I know that they spray some kind of sugary type substance on them to make them brown. The question is, would this small amount of dextrose or whatever it is make any difference? I mean, if you just have a leg, how many carbs does that light spraying of sugar actually add? I mean, are we talking 1/2 a carb, or are we talking ten?

Is there another objection to eating such chickens, such as re-awakening a dormant sweet tooth?

    Very grateful for yr comments!
