    Re: !!!Cocoa Please!!!

Take about half heavy cream and half water and heat, Beat in some powdered cocoa and some splenda and serve. (I take a cinnamon stick and kind of stick it in to decorate it and get some Mexican Cocoa flavor. Also a drop of peppermint extract is good for a christmasy touch.

she wants exact recipes cause she has the cup of cream 5 T coccoa one from another site

you can use the cream cut to 1/2 cup and 2/3 water with 2T cocoa powder and 1packet of sweetner or you could use the other recipe and just fix 1/2 of it to use as your energency fix and just sip a little at a time as those TOM cravings hit cause you know they are not a one time thing

        Here's my Hot chocolate:

1 teaspoon cocoa and Liquid sweetener to taste in a cup

Pour over boiling water, mix well
Then I just lighten with some heavy cream...That's it!

I followed the recipe on the back of the hersheys cocoa powder, it was

2 Tbsp sugar (splenda of course)
          2 Tbsp Cocoa
          dash of salt
          1 cup milk ( used 1/2C Cream and 1/2 C water)
          1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Heat water and cream in microwave until hot, add cocoa, splenda and salt slowly stir well, because it does clump a bit then add vanilla.

          Its very good.

Hey there...Did you read the ingredients? I gave you links of acceptable foods.
How many carbs does it list?
If you post the ingredients, someone may be able to help you.

I have this at home, yours may be similar? MINE is DEFINITELY not legal. At the very least it has milk---
              what about yours?

I have a 60 cal no sugar added at home that I keep for one of my sons...he loves hot chocolate when he visits on these cold winter days.

It has 10 carbs, 0 fiber, 7 grams of sugar.

                  You are most welcome!

What I am hoping you will learn is how to read labels, ingredients, etc so you can do this properly.

It is not hard once you read, read, and read all the info and use the tools. I have lost 42#, and it was a little hard in the beginning, but once I used the tools, and read all the info in the forums on top of the page-there is so much there to help you-it got very easy fast.

No eating plan is without planning. "Even the push away from the table" diet requires you to decide when to stop eating...LOL! Give it some time, and we are here to help. But remember READ the labels and ingredients. It might be easier to stick to simpler, less processed foods as a rule of thumb.

It really isn't hard at all.
