  • Cinnamon Sweet Crunchy Almonds

Has anyone figured out how to clone those cinnamon sweet almonds that I smell everytime I go to the mall? I'd love to know how to make that glaze using Splenda instead of sugar.

Either mix egg whtie and the Splenda/spices together, then toss with the almonds before baking. Or toss the egg whites and almonds together then sprinkle the Splenda/spice mixture over them then bake.

They won't develop the candy coating that the sugar coated ones have but they will have a sweet-spicy flavor.

If you're into sugar alcohols, you could use them as the coating and will most likely get that candy coating effect.
