  • Chinese 5 spice recipes? Sesame Seed Oil?

I finally went and bought chinese 5 spice to make some yummy stuff, but now I can't find any recipes that use it . Any chinese recipes would be great, I have linda's low carb site ones so anything else is awesome. I also bought sesame seed oil I think, and have no clue how to use that either. Curse these impulse buys! Lol

Well you could make a simple stir-fry. Are you on induction or in OWL? That will limit the amount of ingredients you can use. In my stir-fry, I put water chesnuts, broccoli, snow peas, bamboo shoots, sometimes bell peppers. Some people put in cabbage, jicama, celery, all sorts of stuff!

This is one of my absolute fav recipes and soooooooo easy peasy:

Just deep fry chicken wings (no coating necessary), then drain them on paper towels and sprinkle liberally with a mixture of half 5 spice powder and half salt. A sqeeze of lemon over the top and..... enjoy!
