A good spaghetti squash receipe?

Hi there,

Could anyone give me a good mock spaghetti receipe? ( I"m susing ground beef, spaghetti squash and some sort of tomato sauce <--- thats where you come in!!!

maybe you could check out www.sugarfreesheila.com too she has a lot of recipes.

you didn't mention what level of the diet you were on so just bear in mind some of these recipes have ingredients that are not legal until further up the O.W.L. you could find a suitiable substitute or omit that ingredient. I havent tried any of these but might!

I just take baked spaghetti squash and add it to a meat sauce I make myself with garlic, onions, ground beef, italian herbs, roma tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, sliced black olives and organic tomato sauce. Top with some fresh grated parmesan and it is yummy. Even my husband likes this!! I have also done a similar version with cubed baked chicken breast, mushrooms, and broccoli using an alfredo sauce from a jar (Bertolli or something like that). I must say this is my favorite "never tried before Atkins" veggie.

I got a new chopper...the big mouth kind (kind of fits my personality...there, I said it..)...and I've been making my own "sauce"...

1-2 pounds of chopped tomatoes
garlic powder
oragano
1/8th of a cup of parmesan cheese
salt/pepper

I blend a few times for chunky and puree for a bit longer and add about 1/8th of a cup of canola oil...it's awesome over juliann zucchinni or spaghetti squash

oh, yeah, heat the sauce until bubbly hot
