    Cereal recipe

I've been eating Allbran Extra fiber, but in an effort to avoid high fructose corn syrup and aspartame, have decided to make my own. BUT, I need a recipe, or a formula, or a concept.....
    Anyone????????????

I have: wheat bran, oat fiber, oat bran, coconut flour, flax seeds, high gluten flour, whole wheat flour, "not starch" So how do I get that to become crunch nuggets or flakes or just crispy little blobs?

you can try making a biscotti like cookie out of the ingredients. With biscotti, they are "cooked twice". The first time they are baked into a long log of a cookie. That is sliced and the cookies are returned to the oven to dry out and become crispy. If you crush the biscotti, then you'll have dry cereal-like crumbles.

That sounds like a plan! I think I will omit sweetener on this try. I can't believe that what I consider to be cow food ingredients taste so sweet on their own now. I opened the bag of oat fiber and thought it was mistakenly carbquick or something it smelled so sweet. It didn't taste sweet, but it didn't have that cowfood flavor I remembered from my childhood
