      They're called button mushrooms. I love them raw with "ranch" dressing, but cooked they are good stuffed or take a pound of mushrooms, clean them, cut off the hard part of the stem, and put them in a fry pan skillet (something shallow and with a lid) add a stick of butter, about 3T water, and several shakes (5 or 6 at least, but its too taste) of Worcheshire sauce. Let simmer till tender, 30-45minutes. They'll still be "sauce" in the bottom when they're done (almost as much as when you started). YUM. Its awsome covering steaks or almost any beef.
