    Flax Cereal/Popcorn subsistute

    Hi,

    I can't seem to find the flax seed hot cereal recipe. Can I make it with seed instead of flax meal? I have some that is ground up.

    Also any suggestions on something to replace popcorn when I'm watching a movie at home?

    Hello There,
    I make hot flaxmal cereal all the time. If you have whole flax seed, just mill it in a coffee grinder.
    3 TBLS. flaxmeal
    1 Tbls. cream
    1/4 cup water
    1 tbls. butter
    Sweetner if you choose
    Microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds on high



    A good popcorn replacement is--

    Pork Skin Dorritos
    Mix Together
    1/4 tsp paprika
    1/4 tsp cayenne
    1/4 tsp chili powder
    1 tbls. parmesian cheese
    Put pork rinds in bag and pour seasoning over and shake. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes in a 250 degree oven.

            Love the flax cereal recipe. I posted it my never ending induction recipe thread.

            I tried your Dorrito thing but the spices didn't stick to the porkrinds at all. What did I do wrong?
