  • pork dry rub - induction friendly???

Hi - I'm having Easter dinner at my place this year for the family. I'm going to have boneless country style spare ribs instead of ham. The family loves them with Sweet Baby Rays sauce on them.

I plan on continuing my strict induction during this time, so my question is this: Do I just eat mine plain? ensive Or is there a dry rub that could be used on the ribs? Suggestions??

    Thanks for your help :joy

you can low carb most rubs by making your own and leaving out the sugars. you will have some carbs in your spice mix depending on what ingresients you use. there should be some dry rubs on the board you could use.

I make a dry rub this way:

      1 tablespoon each of:
      Onion powder
      Garlic powder
      Black pepper
      Sweet Hungarian paprika
      Dried thyme
      Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Red pepper flakes
      A pinch of cinnamon
      A pinch of allspice

Divide the mixture in half. Half of the mixture I rub onto the meat and let it marinate for a couple of hours. Cook the meat as you normally would. At the end of the cooking time, brush the meat with a 50-50 mixture of cider vinegar and water. Sprinkle the remaining dry rub on meat. Serve.
