  • Induction Friendly Beef Marinades

I bought some round steak, and I'd like to marinate it overnight to soften it up a bit. What should I use for a marinade? I used to use A-1 but it's not induction friendly, and I'm doing a super clean induction, so I need some ideas please

    thanks in advance.

A dry rub might be better than a marinade if you are doing a very clean Induction. You might try a light brine (salt and Splenda) simmered with bay leaves, coriander, anise and/or other spices to taste. This will enhance tenderness without adding appreciable carbs.

try a home made Italian dressing or mojo marinade the following is an easy choice but you can vary it to your tastes for a good marinade you just need an acid, oil and sweet....along with spices

      2 parts olive oil
1 part vinegar (and or lemon or lime juice)
splenda (I never use it but it will work)
      dash of worchestershire (or not)
      fresh garlic minced
oregano, basil, salt and pepper to taste
a little heat if you like from some chile
put it in a zippy bag and in the frig over night turning when you think of it!

save your splenda as Splenda will not create the osmotic gradient sugar did in the marinades but the salt will.
