  • What can I eat WITH shrimp?

I am having trouble selecting something appropriate to eat WITH shrimp or how to eat it..Without making a big gumbo or anything fancy..I usually cook my shrimp with pastas such as tomato and basil or fettucini alfredo...Now how can i eat it? I bought some precooked medium sized ones..I am looking for something short and sweet..Any suggestions?
    Thanks! Cherie

I usually either boil some shrimp in buttter and minimal water, and make a nice green salad, and pour the shrimp plus the juices it boiled in as a type of salad dressing and put a side of cream cheese with chives on the side and use it as a type of dip. I also mix scallops into this meal and boy oh boy is it yummmmm!

another idea is to put your shrimp on a pan and toss some olive oil, butter (melted) pepper, minced garlic, and top with shredded parmesan cheese or goat's cheese and top over an asparagus salad. this too is one of my favorites!

I sometimes stirfry it with various veg [peppers, mushrooms, etc.] and flavourings [garlic, fresh ginger, chilli, etc.]. or saute in garlic butter and have it with salad.

I have been taking shrimp to work over my 2 cups of salad. I toss in a few bacon crumbles, and I don't even need dressing. Good luck!
