That sounds delicious... but, sliced at 12 pieces it is 14.25 grams of carbs. I didn't realize chocolate was so jammed with carbs. Maybe I could reduce carbs by using all splenda... then again... maybe I'd eat too much of it.
3 minute chocolate cake recipe. Serving for 2 Rung 3- Nuts and Seeds
1/4 cup almond flour 1 Tbls. cocoa 1/4 tsp. baking powder 3 Tbls. + 1 tsp. granulated splenda or sweetner of choice. 2 Tbls. butter 1 Tbls. water 1 egg Mix almond flour, cocoa, baking powder, splenda in 2 cup glass measuring cup. Stir in butter, water, and egg- mix well- scrape batter down on sides with spatula- cover with plastic wrap. Vent by cutting slits in plastice wrap in center. Microwave on high for 1 minute 20 seconds. 2 servings, 4 net carbs. I like to cut this in half and make a double layer cake and then frost it. I decorate it by making a flower on top with sliced almonds.
Low Carb Chocolate Frosting
3 Tbls. of butter, softened not melted 5 Tbls. cocoa powder 1 cup splenda 1/3 cup heavy cream 1 tsp. vanilla few drops of water Whisk all ingrediants well. You'll have extra. Sorry, don't have a carb count for this one.
