    urplequ:
FINALLY............I THINK this is in the correct place...

I found the Mini Carb Pie Crust mix on sale for .25 a box (!!) at Walmart this weekend,so I bought one box.....

Since I am NOT a pie eater, I have no intention of making a crust. What I was going to do is either:

    A. Eliminate the butter that it tells you to add and just use it as a bake mix.........or

    B. Prepare it the way it says on the box and try to make a "Hot Pocket" type thing. I plan on using cooked hamburger and pepperoni and cheese as a filling. But, as usual, I have no idea what to use as a "binding agent".

Does anyone have any other ideas or comments about my ideas?

Why not make it into a pie crust like the package says but turn it into a quiche!? Then you can put any kinds of meats and cheeses that you like in it! There is a great quiche recipe in the DANDR book in the back, although it says crustless, you can make your's with crust!

OK.........I'm a moron. (This is the correct place for my reply, not the other thread !!!!)

      Thank you Gizmo's mommy !

That is a great idea. I had never even thought of doing that. That also sounds like it would be easier.

Your little Gizmo is CUTE. I assume he's a Shiz Tzu?

I love quiches, I like to make them on sunday's and then portion them out to bring in to work for a great breakfast on the go! Pop them in the nuker for a few seconds and they're ready to eat! YUM!
