  • BBQ sauce from 1 carb ketchup?

    Anybody have a simple recipe?

    Couple recipes here, some strategic ketchup replacement would be in order:

    What I do:
    Elliptical gym machine 1 hr Tue-Sun
    At 320, switch to cycling on my Trek 500
    2 filtered containers water/day
    Daily salads/veggies


    Goals:

    Stop needing High Blood Pressure meds - DONE!
    Workout in a XXXL shirt
    - DONE!
    Workout in a XXL shirt
    Workout in a XL shirt
    270 on the scales

      Thanks John! I don't have all that stuff though lol. I may just have to go to my moms place and rob her spice rack *chuckle*

        i use ketchup, vinegar, splenda, garlic. maybe chop a little onion. very easy and good

          i tried this the other day and it came out pretty good. of course change to your tastes
          EQUALS 1 CARB PER TABLESPOON


          1 CUP LOW CARB KETCHUP…..(I LIKE HEINZ REDUCED SUGAR)

          ¼ CUP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

          1 TBS OF MY CHICKEN RUB……..SEE BELOW

          ½ TSP GRANULATED GARLIC

          1/8 TSP SESAME OIL (might want to skip this but try it )


          ¼ TSP LIQUID SMOKE

          SIMMER FOR 15 MINS VERY LOW. ADJUST FOR TASTE AFTER SIMMER

          LET COOL THEN PLACE IN FRIDGE


          MY CHICKEN RUB

          1/3 TBS SWEET MESQUITE SEASONING….(COSTCO)
          1/3 TBS NO SALT SUBSTITUTE…………….(COSTCO)
          1/3 TBS STICKY FINGERS BRAND RUB OR PAPRICA
          1/4 TSP DIABETI BROWN SUGAR SUBSTITUTE (OR ANY BROWN SUGAR ALCOHOL SUBSTITUE TO TASTE)

          MIX ALL THREE TOGETHER, AND GRIND TO A RUB CONSISTINCY
