Re: Chicken Wing Recipe Wanted - Spicy
Chicken wings are about as easy as it gets to make. Here's how I make mine:
1. place chicken wings on aluminum foiled cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam (to prevent sticking/tearing when done).
2. cook on 375 for 25-30 minutes.
3. With about 5 minutes left to go, I melt 3 tbsp of butter in a saucepan. Once the butter is melted, I add about 1/2 cup of Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Sometimes I add to this sauce with either hotter sauce or other dried spices. Mix well.
4. Remove chicken wings with tongs and place into glass or metal bowl (while still hot). Pour sauce over wings and toss.
It's really that simple....- M/37

I have a couple for you.. the first one is a favorite in my home. If you have kids, watch out, as they will snatch every last one of these baby's up lol. They are great for anytime, whether it's part of a meal or just a snack. The second recipe, I have not tried yet, so if you do, please let me know if it's any good.
~Buffalo Chicken Wings~
2 servings
preheat oven to 375 degrees
You will need:
1lb. chicken wings
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup of hot pepper sauce or whatever hot sauce you like
( I use Cayenne Hot Sauce as it's good, has no carbs and no added sugar )
Preparation Method:
1) bake wings for 20 minutes - in a saucepan melt the butter - stir in hot sauce
2) brush wings with sauce - bake for 10 more minutes
3) turn wings over - baste with hot sauce - bake for 10 more minutes
CARBS: 1g per serving
~~Parmesan Wings~~
4 pounds chicken wings/ 1 cup grated parmesan cheese/ 2 Tbsp. dried parsley/ 1 tbsp. dried oregano/ 2 tsp. paprika/ 1 tsp. salt/ 1/2 tsp. pepper/ 1/2 cup butter. 1.) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2.) Cut the wings into drumsticks. 3.) Combine the Parmesan cheese and the parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. 4.) Line a shallow pan with foil. Do not omit this step, or you'll be scrubbing the pan a week later.) 5.) Melt butter in a shallow bowl or pan. 6.) Dip each drumstick in butter, roll in the cheese and seasoning mixture, and arrange in the foil-lined pan. 7.) Bake for 1 hour. Yield: About 50 pieces, each with only a trace of carbohydrates, a trace of fiber, and 4 grams of protein. NOTE- These taste great the next day too.
I don't recall where I found the second recipe, but it sounded good just have not tried it as of yet.
