  • Hot & Sour Soup?

One of my favorite foods of all-time is hot & sour soup, but I haven't come across a low carb (induction friendly if possible) version. Anyone have one? I know it isn't going to be thick like at the restaurant, but I want that vinegary flavor.

    Thanks!

I'm a fan of hot & sour too! The only recipe I have tried to date is the one found here:
Hot and Sour Soup : Soups Sauces & Appetizers : Active Low-Carber Forums

I skip the corn starch which makes the soup less thick, but leaves the taste spot on. I'm also not a tofu kind of guy so I leave that out as well.

In Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002ed there is a recipe for Egg Drop soup. you can modify that recipe to make a hot and sour soup by adding some veg and by adding a teaspoon of rice wine vinegar (make sure it's the unseasoned variety) per serving. I like adding heat by using chili oil.
