  • Question for Naja.... Corn Bread & Soy Grits.

    Hi Naja,
    I have the recipe for Corn Bread which uses Soy Grits... but I can't get them.. is there a substitute???

    Soy grits can be ordered online here: http://www.bobsredmill.com/catalog/

    If you don't want to do that, you might try the Atkins packaged cornbread mix instead as it's available in many stores. I have not tried it yet, so I don't know how good it is.

      I am in Ontario Canada and Atkins products are not all available. The Bake Mix is, but it was so expensive that I made my own...

      I wonder if I took whole Soy and ground it in the food processor if it would turn into Grits?
      Any thoughts?

        Bob's Red Mill should ship to Canada, if you cannot find anyone selling soy grits nearer to you. I don't know how to make grits from whole soy beans, however. You might try writing a letter to Bob's Red Mill?
