Re: Phase 1
Hi,
I fried up chopped onions and chopped radishes, with salt and fresh ground pepper, along with leftover chicken tenders---(rolled in a bit of heavy cream to moisten and then rolled in grated Parmesan cheese and fried up in a pan).
Have you scoured the recipe links?

Re: Phase 1
Hi,Originally posted by gc1379 View Postis bologna legal during induction?...
Have you read the links I provided to you yesterday? Above... And you didn't answer if you have the book.
No one can really answer your question but you.
Above was a link of the acceptable foods list for Induction. That is a very important tool for success, as are the "Rules Of Induction".
Bologna would be considered a "processed meat". Now what YOU have to do is read the ingredients of the balogna you wish to buy and determine if the INGREDIENTS are Induction friendly.
If there is anything not allowed, then the balogna is not allowed. No one can say yes or no to your question without knowing the ingredients. For example---If there is any sugar, high fructose corn syrup, or any other forms of sugar, it is a no-no.
Taken from the Acceptable foods list:
Acceptable Foods
These are the foods you may eat liberally during Induction:
all fish, all fowl, all shellfish, all meat, all eggs
*Oysters and mussels are higher in carbs than other shellfish, so limit them to four ounces per day.
**Processed meats, such as ham, bacon, pepperoni, salami, hot dogs and other luncheon meats and some fish may be cured with added sugar and will contribute carbs. Try to avoid meat and fish products cured with nitrates, which are known carcinogens. Also beware of products that are not exclusively meat, fish or fowl, such as imitation fish, meatloaf and breaded foods. Finally, do not consume more than four ounces of organ meats a day.
Let us know what you found out.
