Need a good barbeque sauce recipe, got lots of ribs, but didn't like the last batch of barbeque sauce I made. Since I'm getting ready to move to rung 4 and I have this jar of sugar free (sweetened with Splenda) rasberry jelly, I'm thinking I can make some kind of sweet, spicy and sticky barbeque sauce with that, but don't know exactly what I should do. Any ideas?

Re: Sweet & Spicey Barbeque sauce?
I would be wary of introducing berries into your OWL menu in the form of Splenda sweetened raspberry jelly. Some folks are affected by the "cephalic phase insulin response" and have blood sugar spikes due to sugar substitutes. Should you be one of these people, that might interfere with your weight loss.Originally posted by Barb1965 View PostNeed a good barbeque sauce recipe, got lots of ribs, but didn't like the last batch of barbeque sauce I made. But if you are willing to take that chance, then perhaps you can mix equal amounts of that raspberry jelly, sugar-free ketchup and chili peppers together?~Megs~
