  • Recipes for poor overworked college students?

I am a college student, and my hectic non-stop class and work schedule makes it hard to find a lot of time to really prepare meals. Every once in awhile such as on weekends I have an opportunity to do some good cooking, but for most of the week I am running here and there trying to fit eating in when I can. (I fell victim to Fast Food way of life, I was master of the Wendy's 99 cent value meal.) Does anyone have some recipes to add some variety to my induction menu that are quick and easy. I know there are a lot of snacks, meals, etc. that are available on the Atkin's website and in the supermarket, but most of them are so expensive when you're on a tight college budget. ($2.75 for a single snack bar!!) I think one of the hardest things about eating healthy is the logistics of actually making it practical and convenient.

    Thanks all!

Lucky for your those bars are expensive and you don't have to worry about eating them. They stall most folks anyway.
Lets see, what about taco salad without the chips.
Can you cook meals on the weekend and just freeze them already plated. Like, meatloaf without the breading, and some frozen veggies.
Bake a chicken and cut it in 4th
Soup is always fast and easy, chicken or beef.
Check out the menu section. There are a lot of delights there.
I just bought Dana Carpenters 15 minute Low Carb Favorites but I haven't gotten it from Amazon yet.
