I'm pretty boring with my egg salad...Just chopped hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, cayenne pepper or paprika, a pinch of mustard powder, some chopped celery and/or green onion.

Dill can be nice, but it can also be fun to change it up a little - instead of making mine thick and completely mayo-laden, sometimes I like to reduce the amount of mayo used to about half, add a couple tablespoons of vinegar or a vinegary hot sauce, and maybe even some bacon crumbles. It is a little lighter that way, and I personally enjoy the tang.
