I haven't tried the Blimpie items yet but a girlfriend of mine at work has
and she says they taste better than the Subway wraps. Plus they have low carb chips and brownies too. She said the brownies were way expensive though.
I tried their roasted deli sandwich combo today. The price was much more reasonable than SUBWAYS. The whole combo was the same price as the subway wrap alone. You get a bag of chips (8 carbs), and a grapefruit/cranberry (0 carb) drink. The sandwich is (8 carbs).
I didn't eat the chips, but the sandwich alone was very tasty!! and filling. I prefer Blimpie's now over Subway's wrap because on just the subway wrap alone, it did not fill me up.
But hey, someone said that at subways, you can order one of the regular subs ($3.99), and pay (.50 cent) more to make it into a wrap. That'll way it'll be more filling!!

That was me that said that. I saw it on a sign in my local subway (although it looked official, as if it came from a corporate office). I haven't done it yet, so I don't know if they use the same amount of fillings, they might just reduce that to fit it into the wrap.
I'm new to the board but I just had my first subway wrap last week and added my normal fillings. They filled it about the same as they used to with the bread. And that single wrap and a bottle of water filled me right up.
I got a steak and cheese sandwhich done as a wrap last week at Subway. It was kinda large by the time I had everything put in it, but it was still low carb. They charged me $4 for it....not sure if that's more than the regular sub or not. I got some low carb wraps at the grocery store this week, so i'm going to start doing them myself at home.
Be careful with Blimpie's, make double and triple sure they know you want the low carb sandwich. Dateline did a report and when they analzyed the sandwich they had ordered "low" car was tested it came in at 40 carbs. Just a word of caution!
