I must say, I'm disappointed in them. I went in there today and got a chicken strip spinch salad and all they had was fat free dressing! If they are suppose to be "low carb" shouldn't they have some fatting dressing? Now I know that those low carb wraps aren't really low carb since the dressing that they put on the bacon ranch one is loaded with extra 13 carbs because of the 'fat free' dressing! I will be taking my OWN dressing from now on!

I got a response to my email and the lady was very nice and professional and said that they have sent my request and comments to their marketing department because they appreciate their customers taking the time to make these kinds of suggestions. I thought the email was very well written and hopefully now I can get some fat dressing!!! LOL

I noticed that the last time I went there as well. I wasn't doing low carb at the time but my friend was doing it and she ended up eating extra carbs because of it!

It might not fit your taste, but you're generally safer to put mayo on instead. Oh, and by the way, you look great. I hope that by this summer I've got a tummy like yours and can wear shorts again that short!

The same thing happened to me and I asked them if they had regular ranch and the guy behind the counter gave me the squirt bottle of regular ranch that they use on the sandwich's. I just popped the top and squirted. I could tell it wasn't the diet so maybe just ask for the regular behind the bar.

And they have oil and vinegar behind the counter as well.

I've never been in a subway. Even pre Atkins. They are shooting up everywhere in the UK.

They are all over the place here Rich. Cheap. $1.99 for a 6 inch sub sandwich....I hear its popular with the low fat folks though. I was not impressed with their salads.

But then everything is cheaper where you are.

You think everything is cheaper here? Probably, but we probaly make less money than you do too, so it evens out.

Subway will make any of their sandwiches into a salad for you. It's much better to see exactly what's going onto your plate as it's being made than to buy a prepackaged salad. You can choose lettuce or spinach or a mixture of both with the meat and cheese toppings for any sandwich on their menu. They will add veggies as you request just like their sandwiches. Be assertive. They also have regular salad dressing packets. We have been really enjoying the big Itallian (Meatasaurus Rex) subs as a treat meal on the weekends. The safest thing with dressing is to bring your own or get it to go, but a ranch or blue cheese packet is usually pretty safe and they have the carb count on the package so it's up to you to use with caution.
