  • Hooters Wings

I am back on Induction. I read that Hooters wings (the naked ones) have 6 carbs per 10 piece serving. Are they ok for induction, as long as I stay within 20 carbs for the day? :bouncelaugh

Just curious where you read that.

I buy the Hooter's wing sauce in jars for when I don't feel like whipping up my own sauce. It is supposedly identical to what is used in the restaurants, and has 0 carbs per serving (so assume trace amounts and count up to 1 gram just to be safe).

I typed that wrong. I did not read it, one of the managers at Hooters told me that. But I have since done some research and found what you have, that it has a trace of carbs. Someone else told me on another post for induction that I could not eat their wings, even if they are naked. If they have only a trace of carbs, why would I not be able to eat them?

I read that post as well. I see no reason why they are not induction legal (the blue cheese sauce they use may have sugar however, so you may want to avoid using that on induction, perhaps that is where the carbs the manager quoted you came from).

Looking at the list of ingredients I don't see anything jumping out at me that isn't induction legal.

              Re: Hooters Wings

I got a bag of frozen wings and fried them up naked and put wing sauce on them which only had 1 carb per 2 tbls. I only needed 1 tbls for 10 wings and it was only one carb.

I loooooove hooters wings but this was sooo awesome as well, I could eat them every day!

I plan on checking out the carb count on hooters sauce the only place I can find it where I live though is super target, which I wasent shopping at the day I bought this.
