  • Carrabba's Italian Grill

Best low carb meal I've had anywhere....
Pollo Rosa Maria... 2 grilled chicken breasts stuffed with Prosciutto and fontina cheese topped with mushrooms and a lemon basil sauce. It was served with a salad and sauteed broccoli.
    I give it ***** 5 stars !!!

I would definitely recommend Carrabba's over Macaroni Grill. I have always gotten good, understanding service at Carrabba's, but they f---ed me over majorly at Macaconi Grill.

At Macaroni Grill in Orlando, I explained to the waiter that I could not have any kind of flour or sugar products in any way, shape or form. He brought me vegetables instead of the bread, which were quite good dipped in olive oil. I ordered Parmesan crusted sole for my entree. I had eaten a few bites of the fish, which he swore repeatedly was crusted *only* with herbs and cheese and no flour or cornstarch or anything else whatsoever, when I got tremendously suspicious and asked him to go back to the kitchen one more time to talk to the chef. Turns out there was finely ground up breadcrumbs in the herb crusted fish.

"But that isn't flour," the waiter said angrily, obviously exasperated with my impertinence for making any sort of special dietary request. I explained icily that food allergies could hospitalize or kill some people, and that I had already explained that I could not eat bread. He was amazingly rude in return.

I sent the fish back and walked out. If you're in Orlando and in the mood for Italian, stick with Carrabba's and avoid Macaroni Grill.
