  • Anyone tried Quiznos low carb?

I got some coupons in the mail today for Quiznos low carb products. It looks like a pita bread type of sandwhich. I checked out the website, and they have a large variety of items between 7 and 20 carbs. Has anyone tried this yet?? They have coupons on their website if you want to check it out. www.quiznos.com

Unfortunately there are no Quiznos around here, I would like to try it myself... I have heard from others who have that it is pretty good however.

Ok, I will answer the question myself. I went by today with my coupon....$1 off. It's basically the subs except they use some type of peta bread instead of the normal bread. It's not thin like the wrap, but alot thicker. Anyway I tried the turkey bacon guacomole today and it was great. It's much more food than a subway wrap.

Actually, I recently discovered a Quiznos nearby I had the Chicken Carbonara wrap, and it certainly wasn't bad.

My experience ran counter to yours however, I found that the subway wrap contained more stuff than the Quiznos. Also, make sure you check out the carb counts on their website before you go, at least at this one there was nothing listed in the place, and the dressings included in some of the 'low-carb' wraps shoot it up quite high.

I just had a classic italian with no tomato, onion, or olives and a little mayo instead of the sauce for lunch and it was really good, but definitely not very filling. You would never know you were eating low carb bread.
