I just went there, and had one the other day. I too, picked out the tomato and carrots, but the nutritional count said that the salad with dressing was 13 carbs....But, since we both picked out the high-carb veggies, and I only used 2/3 of the dressing I counted it as 11 carbs.
McDonalds also has those really cool adult happy meals! They include a big bottle of water any premium salad (like Bacon Ranch) and a pedometer all for around $5!

salad
I just responded to a similar thread.
Yesterday I had a McDonalds Premium salad for lunch.
It was a bacon ranch one with grilled chicken. Of course I threw away the croutons (8g carbs) and the Ranch Dressing (9g carbs)
(so the above poster who had 2/3 of the dressing really had a lot more carbs than she thinks)
Here's the McDonald's website.
The website says it has 12 g carbs and 3 g fiber, so that would seem like 9 carbs.
Then it lists the same salad without the chicken and it is 9 carbs with 3 carbs fiber. I assume that means that the chicken has 3 carbs.
I also took a look at the Wendy's website and I can't believe it. They list Wendy's Mandarin Chicken Salad (no almonds, no noodles, no dressing)
as having a whopping 17 carbs. Can that be right?

Re: salad
I would think at least 17 carbs! Mandarins are high carb fruit, plus they probably come from a can and were packed in high fructose corn syrup!Originally posted by snorkelmanI just responded to a similar thread.

Ahhh, that would make sense. Of course I had not planned on eating the little oranges, but I wasn't gonna go near that salad if it had almost an entire day full of carbs in it.
I guess without the oranges it probably is around 10 like the other salads, huh?
I guess you still can't beat hamburgers from 100% ground beef
