If you have had Chicago pizza you would pay $47.95 for 1 let alone 2. High on my list of things I miss about growing up in the Chicago area is the pizza.

                Donky,

Let us know how it turns out. If it is good, we may get the larger quantity because it comes out to $17.49 per pizza -- and that seems about normal.

Definetly, Chicago style pizza always seems more expensive, but it is usually so thick that you get a lot of bang for your buck. I agree the larger order seems like a good deal. Plus when I do go home in May there is one place I can actually eat at with friends and get something friendly.

690 milligrams of sodium for 1 slice, yikes! Talk about water weight gain!

If the pizza is a sausage base with the pizza toppings in it, then it's like the "meatza" recipe alot of low carb sites have....

I will quadruple my water intake that day. Do not ruin my childhood memories by denying me a "slice" of home.

Donky, you are too funny. I hope you enjoy your slice of childhood memory. I suppose every once and a while wouldn't hurt. In the past I could have eaten an entire pizza that diameter. If I mutiply the nutritional information times 6 (serving 1/6 of pizza), the fat and calorie count is kind of scary, it must be a really thick pizza.

I am going to wait until my extended induction is over to order it. It will seem like more of a reward then.
