You could have some type of chicken or seafood dish, hold the pasta, ask for steamed veggies instead. Watch out for sauces, they may have flour or corn starch in it. Maybe some type of grilled chicken with olive oil and tomatoes (make sure to limit the tomatoes) with steamed broccoli. Just take your Induction list and work with it. You can find something. Watch the salad dressing though, I think it has sugar. HTH

argghh...that was annoying, olive garden was too crowded so we went to red robin's. It acually turned out better, I got a grilled chicken salad.

That's probably a good thing. I can't imagine going into Olive Garden and smelling that bread and watching everyone enjoy it. That would be so hard!

That's what I'd have a problem with. I love that bread so much! But the salad is equally good. They said the dressing is made with just plain oil and vinigar. (Olive Oil!) I think that's good for Atkins, right?

The salad dressing is fine, just avoid the croutons.

Beware though, I actually rememeber reading somewhere that the dressing is more vinegar, oil, sugar, egg whites, and.... I think garlic.... I was an Olive Garden Junkie- I just try to avoid it now! Toooooooo tempting...

I worked there in college and unless things have changed - and I doubt it - the dressing has lots of ingredients. I wish I could remember them all but it is definitely more than olive oil and herbs.

No ingredients list, but according to their online nutritional information:

Each two (2) tablespoon serving contains the following:

                  90 calories
                  ...70 calories from fat
                  fat 8 grams
                  ...saturated fat 1 gram
                  cholesterol 5 mg
                  sodium 530 mg
                  carbohydrates 3 grams
                  protein >1 gram.

Edited to add: I don't know how accurate it is, but this site has some nutritional info on Olive Garden dishes.
