I went out to dinner last night and we went to Pizzeria Uno's. I was planning on getting a chicken ceaser salad or something safe. I was happy to see that they have a new low carb menu now. I ended up having a 8 oz sirloin, grilled shrimp and their "low carb mashed." The low carb mashed was cauliflower with butter, parm cheese and garlic. Very yummy!! Will definitely be making that! The dinner was only 8 net carbs and I only ate about half of it. Glad to say I get full a lot faster than pre-atkins. Have leftovers for today. There was also a stuffed chicken dish that I will have to try next time. Check out the restaurant if you have one in your area. :ThumbsUp

I went to Uno's last night... it's one of the restaurants that I've began to LOVE since I discovered their low carb items but I rarely get to go because for some reason NONE of my friends likes Unos.
Well anyway, a lot of their dishes can be turned low carb b/c they have broccoli and that WONDERFUL mashed cauliflower. It should NOT be that good. I had the stuffed chicken breast (stuffed w/ tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, and cheese) w/ broccoli and cauliflower for sides. SO GOOD! I truly enjoyed it. I think their carb counts are a bit off though. The waitress told me that my whole meal was 9 (7 in the chicken) carbs but the same 2 sides w/ grilled salmon is 7. We all know that salmon has 0, so that means that the sides are 7 by themselves. Anyway... I'm pretty sure all of the ingredients are Atkins Friendly so I just enjoyed it!~Bridget~ (F) Age 25
