  • Applebees Nutritional Info

Does anyone know of a site that lists the nutritional info for Applebees menu? You can't go wrong with a steak and veggies, but I would love to see the info on other menu items.

If anyone has a link, I would appreciate it.

Check the stickie at the top of the forum. I think Applebee's is there with a warning about their food.

That's an eye opener. I'm another one that would have thought a steak was a steak.

Ill check out that link above as well but a couple of years ago I emailed Applebees thru their website for the nutritional info and they didnt have information on all their menus. Only for the foods that fell in accordance with their weight watchers program meals. And those listings didnt include carbohydrate amounts. I found their response to be rather rude. If I can find it back in the archives of my email program Ill share it with you.

Since I couldn't get out of eating at Applebees I went with a grilled chicken that had tomatoes and cheese on top. Hopefully there wasn't too much sugar added like in the steaks.

It came with steamed broccoli and I thought cool... that will work. Would you believe the broccoli came completely covered with bread crumbs?? I was going to send it back but just picked over it for the plain pieces. And definitely decided I'll avoid Applebees from now on.

              Re: Applebees Nutritional Info

Frankly, I think Applebees is horrible. My daughter has severe food allergies and since Applebee's won't guarantee that they can prepare food for her that is safe, we usually bring something for her to snack on while we eat. (She is 18 mo. old and allergic to egg, wheat and peanut). Most restaurants have NO problem allowing her to have her own foods from home and most will have no trouble fixing a plain chicken breast for her or something else safe. Applebees however, will not fix something like that and I've heard three stories from parents who were asked to leave when they brought food from home for their child. I think one case is going to court as a part of ADA law. Anyway, I'm sure all of the chains are different, but until they start to at least ATTEMPT to meet different nutriental needs, I don't give them my business. There are plenty of other restaurants (liek the outback, they are awesome) that will try their hardest to help dietary needs.

just my two cents to share. I know it doesn't really apply to your situation. I would have definitley sent the brocolli back and told htem they needed to add that it had breadcrumbs on it to their menu. hehe....
I know I can do it!

Steamed broccoli with bread crumbs strewn on top? I wonder if you could have asked for the "crumbs on the side"

If I had known that I would have! LOL ! And I wasn't even impressed with the chicken. I was definitely wishing we had gone somewhere else.

Last time we ate there was pre-Atkins. I got the Riblet basket and it came with a complimentary Cockroach swimming in the BBQ sauce! GAG! What I loved the most was that the manager said they'd bring me a fresh order --LOL, Like I want him to go back there and scoop some more of them out of the same pot--maybe I'd get the cockroachs
sister or brother, or pehaps just a few assorted legs and droppings! Gross!

Eew,you just turned my stomach! My daughter had french fries one time at a restaurant and it looked like a roach wing in her fries, we later decided it must have been from off of a soft shell crab leg but still makes me nausaus thinking about it.

LOL, if there is any thing gross to be found in restaurant food, it will be on my plate! That's o.k. though, those experiences are probably why I finally learned how to cook and actually enjoy it!

I had that happen too. Who puts bread crumbs on broccoli? I told the waitress I was on Atkins and needed my steak plain and then she brings the broccoli with stuff all over it. I haven't been back.
