    I want to go on vacation and scared what the resturants put in there food will cause me to gain.

    but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

      I wasn't really thinking fast food places I was thinking real resturants like Italian, steakhouse,chinese. The point I was getting at is on another thread Perkins and the pancake batter they add to there eggs. Who would have thought!!! I'm afraid that even if I ask I will just get a yes kind of answer.Then find out the hard way when the scales are up.

          You go on vacation and enjoy everything you do and when you stop to eat in a restaurant, you ask what is in what you are ordering? Plain and simple. Go to a steak place and ask them to prepare just the steak and serve you some veggies without sauce and a side of butter. Or get a salad and put some ranch dressing or lemon on it. At breakfast, order two fried eggs or eggs over easy with some bacon or sausage. If you get a burger at lunch, leave out the bun. There are many ways to eat low carb. There are very few restaurants where you can't get it your way. Even at IHOP where they serve their eggs with pancake batter, you can ask for eggs prepared with eggs only.
