What to order in a Thai Place? Sure, no rice or noodles.
But how is it with dishes containing oyster- or tamarindsauce?

I seem to do okay with chicken ka prow, which is a spicy basil chicken that I'm pretty sure has low carbs if any. The sauce appears to be unthickened and the only sweet flavor comes from the basil. I can't guarantee it though.

I bring my own low carb noodles to Asian restaruatns. I use shirataki, also known as konnyaku, konjac or Japanese yam flour noodles. Good stuff, and quite healthy and low carb.

Beware of sugar hidden in Asian food however. It's everywhere, in the sauces, the spices, the sauteed dishes and even in the rice.

          Re: Thai Food

Went to Typhoon! for lunch today (6 locations all in the Northwest) and had their house salad with Thai BBQ chicken and a Thai dressing on top -- VERY TASTY. Also had a bite of my friend's pineapple curry (only I had a bite of the chicken, not pineapple). Typhoon is gooood.
