  • Hardee's/Burger King/Subway

    Hey guys...

    I'm taking my students on field trip, and we narrowed it down to three possible choices for lunch. We'll be voting on ONE place to eat, but of the three (Hardee's, Burger King, Subway), what are some tasty and acceptable options for me? I'm on OWL rung 2 (dairy).

    I just do burgers, remove the bun...

    The Burger king Double Whopper is mighty tasty (hold the ketchup). Just get a knife and fork and remove the bun. It's pretty filling too and has veggies and mayo...I mean how can you go wrong?!

    I haven't been to a Hardee's in a very long time...so no comment, but I seem to rememebr some kind of Monster Burger...

    Subway might be a little rough...although you might be able to get those salads or tuna or chicken salad in a bowl...not sure...

    In the case of BK or Hardee's...I'd avoid the salads unless you bring your own dressing...the dressings they have there are horrible and typically loaded with carbs...I remember one at BK...ranch, and I was trying to figure out how 2Tbspn of Ranch could possibly get like 8 carbs! They must do their magic on it...

      I despise Subway, so if it were me I'd pray for the choice to be BK or Hardees LOL

      Even if I got outvoted and we went to Subway, I'd get a salad...but be sure to bring your own salad dressing. If you cannot do that, ask for mayo on the side. I love to use mayo as a salad dressing anyway, add salt and pepper and some of their oregano blend and you've got a great dressing anyway.

        Thanks guys! I'm voting for Hardee's, myself...Their food is soooo rich. Yummy!

          Out of all those places, I dislike Hardee's the least. So um..I'd vote for Hardees. Go Hardees! Are you sure the kids don't want to go to Outback? lol

            subway has fillers in all their meats so don't go there

            BK is very friendly ans is hardees with salads and burgers
            by the book atkinseer

              Now I know the reason I despise subway!

              I think their vegetables have something in them too....Nothing there tastes normal. It all tastes plastic or chemical or something.

                At the top of this forum is a thread that has the links to the nutritional info for various restaurants. You might want to look at the nutritional info for those places and carve out a menu for all three places....just to be prepared.
